APPEALING AN ADMISSIONS DECISION

If your application for a place at St Katharine’s is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel.

St Katharine’s is a Voluntary Aided school and the governing body is the admissions authority. Appeals are co-ordinated by Kent County Council.

To lodge an appeal, please contact:

Kent County Council — School Admissions Appeals

Website: www.kent.gov.uk/admissions-appeals

Phone: 03000 41 21 21

Appeals must normally be submitted within 20 school days of receiving your decision letter. The independent panel’s decision is binding on the school.

If you have questions before lodging a formal appeal, you are welcome to contact us to discuss your circumstances informally.
