Common Questions

How does my child join St Katharine's?

Take a look at our admissions pages to see how you can appy for a place at St Katharine’s. 

The school gates and office open at 8.30am. 

Years 1 to 6 finish at 3.25pm, YR finishes at 3.15pm.

The school office is open until 4.30pm.

Yes! The Hive provides wrap-around car from 7.30am until 6pm. Have a look at their page to find out how to sign up and more. 

We’d prefer to deal with your concern before it becomes a complaint so if you have any worries, come and speak to a headteacher asap.

What should I do for absences?

If your child is unwell, please let us know as soon as possible by either emailing or calling us. 

If you are planning on taking your child out of school for any other reason, let us know with as much advance warning as possible via email. 

If you believe that the reason for your absence should be authorised then you can request a holiday form from the school office. 

You can contact the teachers using the email addresses provided on the class page on the website or leave a message in the office. 

Absolutely! We have plenty of volunteering opportunities available from reading with the children, to being a class helping hand to getting stuck in at Forest School!
