Common Questions from Parents

To apply for a place at St Katharine’s, you should complete our admissions form, which is available on the website. Our school follows the local authority guidelines for admissions, and we encourage prospective families to join our open house events to get a feel for our community.

Our after-school clubs provide a variety of fun and engaging activities, including sports, arts, and science projects. These clubs help enhance students’ skills and interests outside the classroom while providing a safe environment for kids to unwind and have fun.

If you have any concerns or questions, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office. We believe in open communication and are always here to help address any issues you may have.

We take bullying very seriously at St Katharine’s. Our staff are trained to recognise bullying behaviour and respond appropriately. We have clear policies in place to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children, and we encourage anyone to report bullying incidents.

Children can be on site from 8.30am. Registration is at 8.55am and school starts at 9.00am.  The school day ends at 3.15pm for Year R and 3.25pm for other year groups (32.5 hours per week).  We also offer wrap-around care services for early drop-offs and late pick-ups.
